These are metagenome data (16S rRNA gene V3-V4 region) in malodorous cloths and washed water. 20 malodorous cotton cloths in 3 household were used and bacterial 16S rRNA gene were extracted from these sample during washing process (washing, rinse, outdoor or indoor drying etc.) The goals of this project are to identify microflora that adhering to clothes and generation malodor in washed clothes. And, it aims to estimate where the bacteria come from and which washing process is effect of reducing microbial cells and malodors. Nucleotide sequencing was used next-generation Sequencing MiSeq (Illumina). Analysis of sequence data was used CLC Genomics Workbench, removing the low-quality part of sequencing read by Trimming, overlapping paired reads were combined by Merge, the read length was made constant by Length trimming, and OTU analysis was performed using Greengenes Databases.

本数据集为异味织物及洗涤用水中的宏基因组(metagenome)数据,对应16S rRNA基因V3-V4可变区。本研究选取3户家庭的20块异味棉织物,在洗涤流程(包括洗涤、漂洗、室外或室内晾干等环节)中采集样本并提取其中的细菌16S rRNA基因。本项目的研究目标为鉴定附着于织物表面以及导致洗涤后织物产生异味的微生物菌群;同时旨在追溯菌群的来源,并评估不同洗涤流程对减少微生物细胞及异味的效果。本研究采用Illumina公司的下一代测序平台MiSeq完成核苷酸测序。序列数据分析依托CLC Genomics Workbench开展:通过Trimming工具去除测序读段的低质量区域,通过Merge工具合并重叠的双端读段,通过Length trimming工具统一读段长度,并基于Greengenes数据库完成操作分类单元(Operational Taxonomic Unit,OTU)分析。
