The effect of shrub density on animal abundance in Carrizo Plain National Monument

The following data was collected during the 2019 field season in the Carrizo Plain National Monument in Southern California, United States. 16 Cameras were deployed at varying shrub densities ranging from no shrub individuals to a high number of individuals (11-12 shrubs). These cameras were deployed in 2 of our major sites. Cameras were not rotated and were deployed for a total of 27 continuous days. All animals in each photo were recorded as well as their behaviour, time of photo, and local density.

本数据集采集于2019年美国加利福尼亚州南部卡里佐平原国家纪念地（Carrizo Plain National Monument）的野外调查季。研究团队在2处主要样地中布设了16台相机，样地内灌丛密度梯度覆盖从无灌丛至高密度灌丛（单样地灌丛个体数为11-12株）。所有相机未进行位置轮换，且连续布设时长总计27天。本次调查对每张照片中的所有动物个体、其行为、拍摄时间以及对应样地的局部灌丛密度均进行了记录。
