Biogeographical analyses have proven to be an efficient complement to classic ecology. An ecoregional layer based on Morrone understanding of the Andean region and its sub-regions was constructed. This high-resolution layer was generated with GIS software, and it enables to include ecoregions as categorical variables into species distribution modelling software.

生物地理学分析（Biogeographical analyses）已被证实为经典生态学的高效补充手段。基于莫龙（Morrone）对安第斯地区及其次级区域的认知所构建的生态区图层（ecoregional layer），通过地理信息系统（GIS）软件生成，可将生态区作为分类变量纳入物种分布建模（species distribution modelling）软件中。
