VPRS 17363 General Correspondence for the Board's Consideration

This series comprises correspondence files maintained by the Authority. The files contain inward and copies of outward correspondence relating to all functions undertaken by the Authority. The correspondence is arranged by meeting number of the Authority. Meetings were numbered sequentially. Each item of inward and outward correspondence was registered with a number. Each item of correspondence was given a 3 part number. The first part of the number refers to the meeting number. The second part of the number was used to distinguish between inwards correspondence, incoming reports and outward correspondence. The third part of the number refers to the item of correspondence or report. Items of correspondence and reports were numbered sequentially. Correspondence for the Boards consideration had previously been maintained within the series General Correspondence Files, multiple number system, A prefix (1998-2011).

本系列包含某机构（the Authority）维护的往来文件档案。档案涵盖与该机构所有职能相关的来文及发文副本，按机构会议编号排列——会议编号采用顺序编排。每一来文及发文均登记编号，且每一文件均分配由三部分组成的编号：第一部分为会议编号；第二部分用于区分来文、收文报告（incoming reports）与发文；第三部分为文件或报告的序号（按顺序编排）。供董事会审议的文件此前归属于“通用往来文件档案（General Correspondence Files）”系列，该系列采用多编号系统，编号前缀为“A”（1998-2011年）。
