COOL (Crust of the Oman Ophiolite and its Lithosphere) seismic network

The primary objective of the deployment is to acquire a dataset capable of illuminating the three-dimensional properties of the world's reference ophiolite, located in northern Oman. The temporary network consisted of 40 broadband seismometers (30x CMG-3ESP, 6x Trillium120QA, 6x STS-2), supplied from the Geophysical Instrument Pool Potsdam (GIPP, Germany). The network was operable from November 2013 to February 2016 and continuously recording at 100sps.

本次野外布设的核心目标为获取一套可用于阐明阿曼北部全球标准蛇绿岩（ophiolite）三维属性的数据集。该临时台网由40台宽频带地震仪组成，其中30台为CMG-3ESP、6台为Trillium120QA、6台为STS-2，设备由德国波茨坦地球物理仪器库（Geophysical Instrument Pool Potsdam，GIPP）提供。该台网于2013年11月至2016年2月期间正常运行，以100sps（每秒采样100次）的速率持续采集数据。
