The register may have been created so that management could report on the success of the program as the total number of pregnancies was available by reference to the register at any given time.Information in the register included name of female patient, patient identification number, date (of treatment?), blood group, [ovulation] cycle number, donor code, outcome (pregnancy or miscarriage), sex of infant and sequential pregnancy registration number.
