Ceramic: Mancos Black-on-white (Sosi style), bowl, AZRU-00001/968

Mancos Black-on-white, (Sosi style), bowl, Accession AZRU-00001, Catalog #968, Morris FS 4593. Analyzed by Lori Reed 2006. Temper is granular igneous rock/sand/shale suggesting manufacture at Aztec. Bowl is 95% complete with roughly 20% reconstruction using unknown plaster material. Measurements: 18 cm orifice diameter, 10 cm height. Image AZRU1-968 A: interior view showing painted design.
