Dataset for the Bt removal submitted to AFE.Description of the data and file structureThese data were collected as part of a field experiment designed to evaluate the effects of invasive bumblebee (Bombus terrestris) removal on pollination dynamics, floral visitation behavior, and agricultural productivity in squash fields. Observations and manipulations were conducted between 2022, 2024 and 2025 in Obihiro, Hokkaido, Japan.<br>Files and variables<br>File: pol1c.csv<br>Description: This data was collected to assess the invasive bumblebee on fruit production (fruit weight and the number of seeds). Observations were conducted during the flowering season in 2022 (control) and 2024 (Bt removal) in Obihiro, Hokkaido, Japan.<br>Variables<br>flowerID : Flower ID (not used in the analysis).<br>fruit_weight: Weight of fruits (g).<br>fruited: Whether the focal flower fruited or not.<br>seed: Number of seeds in the fruits.<br>Year: 2022(control) or 2024(Bt removed).<br><br><br>File: pol1v.csv<br>Description: This data was collected to assess the flower-visit behavior of bumblebees and the pollen deposition.
