The data of atmospheric deposition chemistry comes from field bulk precipitation collected in an open collector. The data concern dissolved major elements and the corresponding water amount that fell between two consecutive samplings (generally at a fortnightly step). The device consists of a funnel 30cm in diameter placed on a bottle in a tube 130cm high, which is protected from light and temperature changes by a shield. A teflon filter is used to keep out debris and others small materials, and spikes are used to keep birds away.
