Staphylococcus aureus Genome sequencing and assembly

S. aureus is a main human and animal pathogen. This project aims at sequencing many different isolates collected both from humans and animals to perform comparative genomics. One ultimate goal is to identify genetic determinants of host jumps and adaptation.

金黄色葡萄球菌（S. aureus）是人类与动物的主要病原菌。本项目旨在对采集自人类及动物的多株不同分离株进行测序，以开展比较基因组学研究。本项目的终极目标之一，是鉴定介导宿主跳跃与宿主适应性的遗传决定因子。
