Whole genome sequencing of planktonic foraminiferan Globigerinidae sp.

In this project, we sequenced four single-cell isolates of planktonic foraminiferan collected from Green Island, Taitung County, Taiwan (22.69N, 121.48E) using Illumina Novaseq 6000 platform (PE150). These data were generated to investigate the genomic diversity and mitochondrial genomes of planktonic foraminifera in the western Pacific region and contribute to studies of foraminiferan molecular ecology and evolution.

本研究针对采集自中国台湾省台东县绿岛（22.69°N，121.48°E）的4株浮游有孔虫（planktonic foraminiferan）单细胞分离株，采用Illumina NovaSeq 6000测序平台（PE150）完成测序。本数据集旨在探究西太平洋海域浮游有孔虫的基因组多样性与线粒体基因组，同时为有孔虫分子生态学及演化相关研究提供数据支持。
