Whole genome sequencing of Loktanella cinnabarina LL-001. Limimaricola cinnabarinus LL-001

We have isolated L. cinnabarina LL-001 from deep subseafloor sediment off the Shimokita Peninsula of Japan in the north-western Pacific Ocean, which shows various carbon assimilating. To acquire some biochemical findings, we attempt to perform whole genome sequencing of L. cinnabarina LL-001, and compare the sequences to those of related species.

本研究从西北太平洋日本下北半岛近海的深海海底沉积物中分离得到朱砂色杆菌（L. cinnabarina）LL-001菌株，该菌株具备多种碳同化能力。为获取相关生化研究结果，本研究拟对该菌株开展全基因组测序，并将其基因组序列与近缘物种的对应序列进行比对分析。
