Shigella sonnei strain isolated from a stool sample collected from a male patient at Policlinico Sant'Orsola-Malpighi in Bologna, Italy.Genome sequencing performed using both Illumina iSeq 100 and Oxford Nanopore MinION systems.Genome assembly carried out with Unicycler 0.5.0 using an hybrid approach.Antimicrobial susceptibility tests returned high MIC values for the latest cephalosporins.
