Pedestrian Counts from Automated Sensors - Sites

Automated counters were placed in busy areas of the CBD to assess performance. Data collection began in February 2020 and ended in June 2025, giving us a picture of impacts to pedestrian activity due to Covid-19 and the recovery. Data sets can be downloaded from City of Sydney Data hub. * Counter location A004 (Park Street) was counting approximately half of pedestrian activity from\n03-July 2022 to 11 Nov 2022. Please use this data at your own discretion.
