Citrobacter rodentium strain:DBS100 Genome sequencing. Citrobacter rodentium strain:DBS100

The enteropathogenic Citrobacter rodentium strain DBS100 (DBS100) infect intestine and colon of mice. The DBS100-mice is a model system for investigation of virulence mechanisms of enteropathogenic and enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli strains (EPEC&EHEC) that infect human intestine. To identify genetic determinants that are associated with DBS100, EPEC and EHEC virulence we sequenced the complete genome of DBS100.

肠致病性鼠柠檬酸杆菌（Citrobacter rodentium）菌株DBS100可感染小鼠的肠道与结肠。DBS100-小鼠模型是研究感染人类肠道的肠致病性大肠埃希菌（EPEC）与肠出血性大肠埃希菌（EHEC）菌株致病机制的经典实验体系。为鉴定与DBS100、EPEC及EHEC致病性相关的遗传决定因素，本研究完成了DBS100的全基因组测序。
