Topics in this survey are economic conditions today and in six months time, inflation, strikes, opinions of Fraser's and Hawke's involvement in settling strikes, opinion of Prime Minister Fraser and Labor Party Leader Whitlam, re-election of Whitlam as Labor Party leader, policies to deal with energy crisis, mining and exporting of uranium, attributes of state/Catholic/non-Catholic private secondary schools, a new political centre party, party preference, handyman jobs around the house, and newspapers bought or read regularly. Standard variables are country of birth, education level, religious denomination, occupation of respondent and head of household, age group, sex, vote intention, vote at last Federal election, marital status, subjective assessment of social class, and whether on telephone.
