Migratory birds play a significant role in the long-distance transmission of influenza A virus (IAV), posing potential threats to human health and the safety of livestock production. However, comprehensive datasets on the migration networks of IAV-associated migratory birds remain scarce, thereby hindering the assessment of virus transmission risks and the formulation of effective prevention and control strategies. In this study, we developed a comprehensive dataset by integrating literature-based data and Movebank tracking records, focusing on key nodes within the migration networks of migratory birds associated with IAV. The dataset covers 10,088 migration route records for 101 species of migratory birds relevant to IAV. Using ArcGIS and Gephi tools, we calculated the betweenness centrality values for each node in the migration network to quantify their importance within the network and identify key nodes. This dataset will serve as a valuable resource for analyzing migratory bird networks, assessing the risks of IAV transmission, and developing ecological conservation strategies.
