The purpose of the study was to compare epicardial transcript abundance between control and Hdac3 knockout (KO) epicardial cells (MEC). Overall design: Total RNA extracted from CTL (EV) and Hdac3 CRISPR/CAS9 knockout (KO) in mouse epicardial cells. RNA libraries were prepared and Illumina HiSeq NGS preformed (Novogene Corporation Inc, Sacramento, CA) per standard protocols. For experiments with a biological replicate, as the DESeq2 has already eliminated the biological variation, our threshold is normally set to the following, padj < 0.05.
