This study investigates the correspondence of the human microbiome and olfactory performance in adult participants. It includes human nasal and stool samples that were used for amplicon sequencing (16S rRNA gene and ITS region; MiSeq, paired end) as well as metatranscriptomic analyses (Illumina NovaSeq; paired end).
