Transcriptome analysis of Drosophila larvae and adults after larval protein restriction. Drosophila melanogaster strain:Canton-S

This study investigates the organismal response of Drosophila larvae to protein restriction during the larval stage, as well as the effects on Drosophila adults that experienced this restriction during larval development. Protein restriction was implemented during the third instar larval stage by reducing the yeast content in the diet from 8% to 1%. Whole-body larvae, adult heads, and abdomens were then collected for analysis.
