The ability of recovery from freeze-thaw injury during post-thaw recovery (PTR) periods is a critical determinant for their survival and growth. However, no research, to the best our knowledge, has been conducted on their recovery mechanisms at cellular and molecular levels. To investigate the possible cellular mechanism during PTR periods, we used Colobanthus quitensis, one of solely two vascular plant species in the Antarctic Peninsula, using tissues exposed to -7.0C during PTR periods.
在冻融恢复期(post-thaw recovery, PTR)内从冻融损伤中恢复的能力,是决定其存活与生长的关键因素。然而,据我们所知,目前尚无针对其细胞与分子层面恢复机制的相关研究。为探究冻融恢复期内潜在的细胞恢复机制,本研究以南极半岛仅有的两种维管植物之一的南极漆姑草(Colobanthus quitensis)为研究材料,采用了在冻融恢复期暴露于-7.0℃环境的组织样本。
