Cucumber is an important vegetable crop worldwide, which is mainly propagated by seed. The successful occurrence of double fertilization is the premise of seed production in angiosperms. Cucumber ALC homolog (CsALC) displayed a novel and positive function in pollen tube emergence process, and regulated female fertility by promoting CsRALF4/19 function during pollen tube guidance in cucumber. Overall design: Ovaries of wild type and Csalc mutant at 32 h after pollination were collected for RNA-seq analysis. Three biological replicates were performed.

黄瓜是全球重要的蔬菜作物,主要通过种子进行繁殖。被子植物的种子生产以双受精过程的成功完成为前提。黄瓜ALC同源基因(CsALC)在花粉管萌发过程中展现出全新的正向调控功能,并在黄瓜花粉管导向过程中通过促进CsRALF4/19的功能调控雌性育性。整体实验设计:采集授粉后32小时的野生型与Csalc突变体的子房进行RNA测序(RNA-seq)分析,共设置3次生物学重复。
