Worldwide Palaemon COI MSA

An MSA formed using sequences collected as a part of the thesis "PHYLOGENY AND BIOGEOGRAPHY OF PALAEMON SPECIES (CRUSTACEA, DECAPODA, PALAEMONIDAE) IN THE NORTHERN GULF OF MEXICO," as well as publicly available sequences, all belonging to the <i>Palaemon</i><i> </i>genus. Sequences were collected from <i>Palaemon</i> members found around the world. All sequences belong to the mitochondrial gene cytochrome oxidase subunit 1 (CO1). A <i>Macrobrachium nipponense</i> sequence was used as an outgroup to this MSA.

本多序列比对（Multiple Sequence Alignment, MSA）所使用的序列来源分为两部分：一部分采自学位论文《墨西哥湾北部长臂虾属（Palaemon）物种（甲壳纲、十足目、长臂虾科）的系统发育与生物地理学》中的样本序列，另一部分为公开可得的全部隶属于长臂虾属（Palaemon）的序列。所有序列的采样对象均为全球范围内发现的长臂虾属物种个体，且均来自线粒体基因细胞色素氧化酶亚基1（cytochrome oxidase subunit 1, CO1）。本多序列比对以日本沼虾（Macrobrachium nipponense）的序列作为外类群。
