UK ESOL Teachers' Wellbeing and Emotion Labour (Phase 2)

Phase 2 (Interviews)This PhD project relates to the wellbeing, workplace wellbeing, and emotion labour of ESOL teachers and volunteers (i.e. those teaching English to migrant and refugee-background learners) in the UK. The dataset for this phase of the project contains transcripts from semi-structured interviews collected online between May and July 2023. The interview questions related to the ESOL teachers' professional duties, wellbeing, workplace wellbeing, and emotion labour in ESOL teaching. Transcripts 1,2,3, and 4 are the pilot interview files and Transcripts 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 are the main study interview files. An approach to transcription and redaction file has also been provided for this dataset.

第二阶段（访谈）
本博士项目聚焦英国境内英语为第二语言（English for Speakers of Other Languages，简称ESOL）教师与志愿者（即向移民及难民背景学习者教授英语的人员）的福祉、职场福祉与情感劳动。本阶段项目的数据集包含2023年5月至7月在线收集的半结构化访谈转录文本。访谈问题围绕ESOL教师的职业职责、福祉、职场福祉以及ESOL教学中的情感劳动展开。其中转录文本1、2、3、4为试点访谈文件，转录文本5、6、7、8、9、10为主研究访谈文件。本数据集还附带了转录及编辑规范文件。
