COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF SCIENTIFIC TERMINOLOGY IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK

This article provides a comprehensive comparative analysis of scientific terminology in English and Uzbek, focusing on structural, semantic, and functional dimensions. The study examines how scientific terms are formed, developed, and used in both languages, taking into account typological differences, historical influences, and sociolinguistic factors. The research reveals that English scientific terminology is characterized by brevity, internationalization, and morphological flexibility, whereas Uzbek terminology demonstrates descriptive structure, agglutinative formation, and ongoing standardization. The findings highlight both convergence and divergence in terminological systems and emphasize the importance of systematic development for effective scientific communication.
