This dataset comprises an 80-meter-resolution forest landscape dataset of the Chang-Ji Demonstration Zone from 1976, which captures the forest distribution within the zone and offers data support for land protection, soil remediation, land planning and other relevant domains. The Chang-Ji Industrial Innovation Demonstration Zone of Jilin Province is situated at the geographical core of Northeast China, serving as a key area for implementing the new round of Northeast China Revitalization strategy and advancing Jilin Province's integration into the national Belt and Road Initiative. Affected by agricultural activities, urbanization and other driving factors, the forests in the demonstration zone have undergone large-scale reduction and severe fragmentation. Acquiring such forest landscape distribution data of the zone can provide scientific references for regional ecological conservation and eco-city construction, and this dataset is widely accessible to scientific researchers engaged in relevant disciplines including land planning and ecological monitoring.
