The use of a 3D printed acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) mold with a regular conical pattern and a 1 cm distance between each cone spike. A pack of gauzes is soaked in povidone iodine solution that will work as an ink pad. The sharp-pointed aspect of the mold will be pressed on the impregnated gauzes and subsequently stamped onto the affected area to treat (Fig 1). This ensures that the treatment area receives an equally distributed quantity of BTX. Not only does this method provide standardization of the distance between injections, but it also represents an efficient time-sparing technique. Additionally, iodine povidone marks are easier to clean (for example, with saline or chlorhexidine solutions) than those produced with conventional marker pens. Finally, this solution could also be useful in other injected treatments such as corticosteroids in alopecia areata or dutasteride in androgenetic alopecia.
