Temperature profile and water depth data from BT and XBT casts in the Atlantic Ocean from USCGC POLAR SEA from 14 December 1983 to 06 May 1984 (NODC Accession 8600108)

Temperature profile and water depth data were collected using BT and XBT casts from the USCGC POLAR SEA in the Atlantic Ocean. Data were collected from 14 December 1983 to 06 May 1984 by Lamont - Doherty Geological Observatory of Columbia University and US Coast Guard with support from the Deep Freeze project.

本数据集涵盖海水温度剖面与水深两类数据，由美国海岸警卫队“极地海”号（USCGC POLAR SEA）于大西洋海域通过BT（Bathythermograph）与XBT（Expendable Bathythermograph）测量作业完成采集。数据采集时段为1983年12月14日至1984年5月6日，由哥伦比亚大学拉蒙特-多尔蒂地质观测站与美国海岸警卫队联合开展，并得到了Deep Freeze（深冻）项目的支持。
