This invention relates to a method for rapid callus induction of Phoebe zhennan. Using tender young leaves of Phoebe zhennan as explants, the rapid callus induction of this plant is accomplished through sequential procedures including explant collection and cleaning, disinfection, cutting and inoculation, dark culture, and light culture. The maximum callus induction rate reaches 98.1%, accompanied by significant greening and notable callus growth. This method provides foundational and relevant technical support for future callus induction of Phoebe zhennan, seedling propagation via tissue culture, accelerated breeding of elite varieties, and meeting market demands.
