基于VIIRS NPP的标准产品

NPP卫星于2011年10月28日成功发射，NPP共携带了五个科学仪器: VIIRS (Visible/Infrared Imager Radiometer Suite); CrIS (the Cross-track Infrared Sounder); CERES (the Clouds and Earth Radiant Energy System); ATMS (the Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder); OMPS (the Ozone Mapping and Profiler Suite)。通过这五种观测仪器获取新的观测数据，科学家可以了解长期气候模式的动态，提高短期天气预报精度；延续臭氧层的测量，陆地覆盖，冰层覆盖等30个NASA一直跟踪的关键的长期数据集。NPP由NASA在马里兰州Greenbelt的戈达德太空飞行中心管理。

The NPP satellite was successfully launched on October 28, 2011. It carries five scientific instruments: VIIRS (Visible/Infrared Imager Radiometer Suite); CrIS (the Cross-track Infrared Sounder); CERES (the Clouds and Earth Radiant Energy System); ATMS (the Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder); OMPS (the Ozone Mapping and Profiler Suite). By acquiring new observational data via these five instruments, scientists can understand the dynamics of long-term climate patterns, enhance the accuracy of short-term weather forecasts, and continue tracking 30 key long-term datasets that NASA has maintained—including measurements of the ozone layer, land cover, and ice cover. NPP is managed by NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.
