The supplementary table shows the Least Squares means of feed intake, feed efficiency, lactation characteristics, body weight and gaseous emissions of dairy cows by grass-based system, period and year. The grass-based systems included unrestricted grazing (UG), unrestricted zero-grazing (ZG) and unrestricted grass silage (GS). The roughage type was fresh grass outdoors (grazing sward) for UG, fresh grass indoors (zero-grazing sward) for ZG and grass silage for GS.

本补充表格展示了不同草饲系统(grass-based system)、试验周期及年份下,奶牛采食量、饲料利用率、泌乳特性、体重与气体排放的最小二乘均值(Least Squares means)。本次研究涉及的草饲系统包含三类:自由放牧(UG)、零放牧饲养(ZG)与自由牧草青贮饲喂(GS)。三类系统对应的粗饲料类型(roughage type)分别为:自由放牧组采用户外鲜草(放牧草甸,grazing sward),零放牧饲养组采用室内鲜草(零放牧草甸,zero-grazing sward),青贮饲喂组采用牧草青贮料。
