Effect of the probiotic candidate Lactobacillus paracasei DTA81 on colon carcinogenesis induced by 1,2-dimethylhydrazine in mice

The present study aimed to evaluate the effects of the probiotic candidate Lactobacillus paracasei DTA81 on gut microbial composition, levels of colonic pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines, oxidative stress biomarkers in the liver, fecal short-chain fatty acids, and the expression of tumor-related genes in an animal model of colorectal cancer.
