<b>Purpose</b>- Although it has great potential in the construction industry, the implementation of Digital Twin (DT) in the construction industry has not achieved the expected results. This paper aims to describe the factors influencing the intention to adopt DT in the construction industry from multiple dimensions and give corresponding suggestions.<b>Design/methodology/approach</b>- The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Strategy-Technology-Organization-People-Environment (STOPE) framework was integrated to form a new theoretical framework. Factors influencing the intention to adopt DT were explored in terms of perceptual and objective dimensions and the relationship between the objective factors was explored.With survey data collected from construction enterprises in China, the model was then empirically tested by partial least squares structural equation model (PLS-SEM).<b>Findings</b>- The results indicated that the intention to adopt DT is positively influenced by policy incentive and market demand. And technology cost has a negative impact on it. Perceived ease of use is positively affected by organizational readiness, data management, and conceptual change, while perceived usefulness is positively affected by comparative advantage. Moreover, policy incentive, competitive pressure and market demand have a positive effect on both comparative advantage and organizational readiness.<b>Originality</b>- Most of the existing studies on DT are literature reviews, this paper conducted a quantitative analysis of the influencing factors on the basis of empirical data. This study contributes to deepened understandings of the influence mechanism of various factors on DT adoption intention, and also expands the depth of DT research in academia.
<b>研究目的</b>:尽管数字孪生(Digital Twin,DT)在建筑业具备巨大应用潜力,但其在建筑行业的落地应用尚未达到预期成效。本文旨在从多维度探析建筑业数字孪生采纳意愿的影响因素,并给出针对性的对策建议。
<b>研究设计与方法</b>:本研究整合技术接受模型(Technology Acceptance Model, TAM)与战略-技术-组织-人员-环境(Strategy-Technology-Organization-People-Environment, STOPE)框架,构建全新的理论分析体系。从感知与客观两个维度探究数字孪生采纳意愿的影响因素,并剖析各类客观因素间的内在关联机制。本研究以采集自中国建筑企业的调研数据为样本,采用偏最小二乘结构方程模型(partial least squares structural equation model, PLS-SEM)对所提出的模型进行实证检验。
<b>研究发现</b>:研究结果表明,政策激励与市场需求对数字孪生采纳意愿具有显著正向影响,而技术成本则对其产生负向作用。感知易用性受组织准备度、数据管理及观念变革的正向驱动;感知有用性则受比较优势的正向影响。此外,政策激励、竞争压力与市场需求均对比较优势与组织准备度存在显著正向作用。
<b>研究创新点</b>:现有关于数字孪生的研究多以文献综述为主,本文则基于实证调研数据开展影响因素的定量分析。本研究深化了学界对各类因素作用于数字孪生采纳意愿的影响机制的认知,同时拓展了建筑业数字孪生研究的学术深度。
