Exploring the impact of surgical treatment for lung cancer in patients with Airway obstruction from a Lung Cancer Screening Program

This retrospective analysis, suggests that sub lobar anatomical resections of early-stage non-small cell lung cancer are non-inferior in terms of short-term survival with a higher locoregional recurrence compared to lobectomies with the additional advantage of better postoperative lung function values but requires a closer follow up to avoid recurrence.
