This study used a combined RNA-Seq and Tn-Seq approach to characterize the response of Enterohemmorhagic E. coli (EHEC) to metabolites from an in vitro culture of 33 human gut microbiota isolates. The dataset deposited here contains RNA-sequencing reads of EHEC cultured in media containing microbiota metabolites or control rich and minimal media, which was used to determine how pathogen gene expression changes in response to the gut microbiota.

本研究采用联合RNA测序(RNA-Seq)与转座子测序(Tn-Seq)的研究策略,解析肠出血性大肠杆菌(Enterohemmorhagic E. coli, EHEC)对33株人体肠道菌群分离株体外培养所产生代谢物的应答反应。本研究提交的数据集包含了在含菌群代谢物的培养基、对照富培养基及基础培养基中培养的EHEC的RNA测序读段,该数据集用于探究该病原菌的基因表达如何响应肠道菌群而发生改变。
