Representative set of Amplicon Sequence Variants (ASVs) resulting from high throughput 18S rRNA gene sequencing of surface sediment collected from Bagnoli Bay (Gulf of Naples)

We collected surface sediment from Bagnoli Bay, Gulf of Naples, Italy, which is a highly contaminated area because of a former steel manufacturing plant. DNA was extracted fro mthe sediment, the 18S rRNA gene amplified and sequenced using high throughput technology to infer microbial eukaryote community.

本研究采集了意大利那不勒斯湾巴尼奥利湾的表层沉积物，该区域因曾存在钢铁制造厂而属于重度污染区域。从沉积物中提取脱氧核糖核酸（DNA），利用高通量技术对18S核糖体RNA基因（18S rRNA gene）进行扩增与测序，以此解析真核微生物群落。
