The data provided include results from a comparative study evaluating the impact of Miscanthus × giganteus (miscanthus), maize, and turfgrass on soil aggregation and associated biochemical pools across three Iowa field sites. The dataset includes aggregate stability metrics (water-stable aggregates, WSA; mean-weighted diameter, MWD), microbial biomass carbon (MBC), extracellular polysaccharides (EPS), total carbohydrate monomers, the galactose + mannose : arabinose + xylose (GM:AX) ratio, and amino compounds. All data are provided as replicate-level measurements, organized by site, treatment, and replicate, with processed summary tables in CSV (.csv) to support reproducibility and downstream analysis.
