To investigate the specific role of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) and messenger RNAs (mRNAs) in regulating cashmere fineness in Tibetan Cashmere goats (Capra hircus), we conducted high-throughput RNA sequencing of fine-type and coarse-type skin tissues.
