Epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) has the highest mortality among gynecological carcinomas. The lack of specific markers for prognostic determination of EOC progression hinders the search for novel effective therapies.The aim of the present study was to explore differences in whole transcriptome profile in ovarian cancer patients with defined platinum resistance status (platinum-sensitive or platinum-resistant), which was based on platinum-free interval with effort to find potential players in drug resistance development.

上皮性卵巢癌(Epithelial ovarian cancer, EOC)是妇科恶性肿瘤中死亡率最高的癌种。当前缺乏可用于上皮性卵巢癌进展预后判断的特异性标志物,这一现状阻碍了新型有效治疗手段的研发进程。本研究以无铂间期(platinum-free interval)为分类依据,对明确铂耐药状态(铂敏感(platinum-sensitive)与铂耐药(platinum-resistant))的卵巢癌患者的全转录组表达谱差异展开探究,以期发掘参与卵巢癌耐药发生发展的潜在关键因子。
