This dataset is a combination of data from the USDA National Statistics Service, Economic Research Service and NOAA climate data. It has been processed to provide a basis for modelling intensification in Corn production. It factors in a county's suitability for growing soybean, GM uptake, irrigation and other intensive inputs over the period 1990-2017.
