Mitochondrial metabolism and body condition of naturally infected sunfish (Lepomis gibbosus)

All data associated with the four tested enzymes (CCO - cytochrome c oxidase, CPT - carnitine palmitoyltransferase, CS - citrate synthase and ETS - electron transport system) with morphological information on each fish used in this study (n=22) and parasite densities (cestodes and trematodes). Enzymatic activities were collected by spectrophotometry. Fish collection was made through Université de Montréal comité de déontologie de l'expérimentation sur les animaux (protocol number 21-028) and collection permits granted by the ministère des forêts de la faune et des parcs (SEG#2021-05-18-1833-15SP).

本数据集包含本研究中4种受试酶的全部相关数据，分别为CCO - 细胞色素c氧化酶（cytochrome c oxidase）、CPT - 肉碱棕榈酰转移酶（carnitine palmitoyltransferase）、CS - 柠檬酸合酶（citrate synthase）及ETS - 电子传递系统（electron transport system），同时涵盖本研究使用的22尾受试鱼类的形态学信息，以及绦虫和吸虫的寄生虫感染密度。酶活性数据通过分光光度法（spectrophotometry）采集获得。鱼类样本的采集工作已获得蒙特利尔大学动物实验伦理委员会（协议编号21-028）的伦理审批，同时取得了森林、野生动物与公园部签发的采集许可（许可编号SEG#2021-05-18-1833-15SP）。
