The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) provides federal funding for Workforce Solutions to administer programs that serve individuals who have been laid off or lost a job through no fault of their own (dislocated workers), Adult residents who are low-income or unemployed (18 years and older) and eligible young adults (ages 14-24) who are pursuing education and employment goals.
