Daedalea quercina L-15889 Genome sequencing and assembly

Genome sequencing of a phylogenetically and ecologically diverse suite of saprotrophic Agaricomycotina (Basidiomycota), which include the major concentration of wood decay Fungi. Analyses of these genomes will provide insight into the diversity of fungal biology, especially mechanisms for decay of lignocellulose, and will illuminate the evolution and ecology of wood decay communities and their processes for carbon cycling and sequestration.

本数据集针对一组兼具系统发育与生态多样性的腐生型伞菌亚门（Agaricomycotina，担子菌门Basidiomycota）真菌开展基因组测序，该类群涵盖了绝大多数木材腐朽真菌。对上述基因组进行分析，将为解析真菌生物学的多样性（尤其是木质纤维素降解机制）提供重要研究视角，同时还可阐明木材腐朽群落的演化与生态学特征，以及该群落的碳循环与碳封存过程。
