Garnet pyroxenite mineral chemistry from Salt Lake Crater, O‘ahu

This dataset provides EMP data obtained on pyroxene and garnet grains from garnet pyroxenites collected from Salt Lake Crater, Honolulu, HI. With these measurements, we utilize a new geobarometer designed for garnet pyroxenites as well as an updated geothermometer to improve our understanding of the thermal structure of the lithosphere beneath the Hawaiian chain.

本数据集提供了从夏威夷州（HI）火奴鲁鲁盐湖火山口采集的石榴子石辉石岩中辉石与石榴子石颗粒的电子探针显微分析（Electron Microprobe Analysis, EMP）数据。借助这些测量结果，我们采用专为石榴子石辉石岩设计的新型地质压力计（geobarometer）及更新的地质温度计（geothermometer），以深化对夏威夷群岛下方岩石圈热结构的认知。
