Yuasa's stuffed specimen collection open date

2022年10月5日に故・湯浅純孝氏の奥様である湯浅俶子氏から標本を寄附していただいた．当コレクションは，富山県産のものを中心に鳥類の仮剝製標本417種1,410点，哺乳類の仮剝製標本81点の計1,491点からなる．なかでも鳥類標本では989点が富山県産のもので，戦後の富山県における鳥類相を把握する上で，大変貴重な標本が数多く含まれている．本標本群は故・湯浅純孝氏が生涯をかけて収集されたものであり，貴重な資料として当館の登録標本として保存している．博物館資料として活用されることを期待すると託されたものであり，今後は県内のみならず国内外の研究者によって本標本群が活用されると幸いである．yuasa`s mammal`s collection open date &amp; yuasa`s bird`s collection open date<br>

On October 5, 2022, this collection was donated by Ms. Choko Yuasa, widow of the late Jun Takashi Yuasa. This collection consists of 1,491 total specimens: 1,410 taxidermied bird specimens spanning 417 species, and 81 taxidermied mammal specimens, with a core focus on specimens sourced from Toyama Prefecture. Of these, 989 bird specimens were collected within Toyama Prefecture. The collection features a large number of highly valuable specimens that are indispensable for studying the post-war avian fauna of Toyama Prefecture. This collection was amassed by the late Mr. Jun Takashi Yuasa over his entire lifetime, and is now preserved as a registered academic collection in our museum. It was donated with the explicit hope that it would be utilized as museum archival material, and we sincerely wish that this collection will be accessed by researchers not only within Toyama Prefecture but also across Japan and internationally in the future.
