Meta-barcoding of bacterial communities from ticks and blood of urban stray dogs in North-West Province, South Africa.

Illumina MiSeq sequencing was done to determine the bacterial communities of colony dog ticks collected from germ-free hosts and ticks collected from naturally infected dog hosts, as well as the blood of naturally-infested dog hosts.

本研究采用Illumina MiSeq测序技术，对取自无菌宿主的饲养群犬蜱、取自自然感染犬宿主的犬蜱，以及自然遭受蜱虫寄生的犬宿主血液中的细菌群落进行了分析鉴定。
