Hurricane Imaging Radiometer (HIRAD) Data. Version 2.1

This data set contains the ocean surface wind speed and rain rate data as well as excess brightness temperature data in tropical storms and hurricanes from the Hurricane Imaging Radiometer (HIRAD) instrument that flew on board the NASA WB-57 aircraft during the Tropical Cyclone Intensity (TCI) project. The data are in Network Common Data Form (NetCDF). Browse imagery are also included.

本数据集包含热带气旋强度（Tropical Cyclone Intensity, TCI）项目期间，搭载于美国国家航空航天局（NASA）WB-57飞机的飓风成像辐射计（Hurricane Imaging Radiometer, HIRAD）仪器在热带风暴和飓风中采集的海面风速、降雨率数据及超额亮温数据。数据采用网络通用数据格式（Network Common Data Form, NetCDF）存储，此外还包含浏览用影像。
