This dataset contains transcriptions of interviews conducted to investigate the use of audience analytics and metrics inside newsrooms of the media organizations that can be considered as leaders at the respective media market. The participants of this research are news users and media workers that have different positions in newsrooms and perform different tasks related to news work, therefore their use of analytics and metrics differs in many ways. The semi-structured interviews were based on an interview guide, which is attached to the dataset. Interviews were conducted and transcribed verbatim by Ana Milojevic.

本数据集收录访谈转录文本,旨在调研各媒体市场头部媒体机构的新闻编辑部内部对受众分析(audience analytics)与指标(metrics)的使用情况。本研究的参与者涵盖新闻受众与媒体从业人员,他们在新闻编辑部中担任不同职位、承担与新闻生产相关的各类任务,因此其对分析工具与指标的使用方式存在诸多差异。本次半结构化访谈(semi-structured interviews)基于配套访谈提纲开展,该提纲已随本数据集一同附出。所有访谈均由Ana Milojevic完成并进行逐字转录。
