Energy simulations office building

Energy simulations have been run on EnergyPlus 25.01 for a single-aspect office cell, with a floor area of 15 m2 (3m*5m) and an internal height of 3.5 m, as positioned within a middle storey of a larger office building, characterised by a corridor-base layout. The basic office cell configuration, characterised by a completely glazed facade with a solar control glazing system, was compared to an alternative solution where 50% of the glazed facade is covered by a wall-package featuring a white reflective foil with high emissivity (B1), 3-cm MBC insulation, and a vapour barrier (specifics in the metadata). The comparison was made across three different geographies: . Rome (41.8967° N, 12.4822° E); . Frankfurt (50.1109° N, 8.6821° E); . Stockholm (59.3327° N, 18.0656° E). Data are subdivided according to the geography where the model has been simulated. Each folder contains related metadata.
