A preliminary analysis of spotted dolphin whistles was suggested as a means to investigate potential acoustic evidence for stock delineation ... [It is concluded that] while S. attenuata and S. frontalis may have adopted distinctly different whistling strategies, stocks of the pantropical spotted dolphin in the Pacific produce whistles that are very similar ...
